Electronic Communication

NCHEP utilizes industry-standard protocols and technologies including TLS, DKIM, and SPF for general electronic communications associated with our domains. We follow frameworks published by NIST and we encourage our stakeholders to always practice good online hygiene by verifying origin and authenticity of all communications. NCHEP digitally signs all communications originating from our domains.


We utilize advanced end-to-end encryption (E2EE) when sending or receiving sensitive and/or regulated data, whether via email or through secure teleconferencing. Cryptographic protocols and algorithms meet or exceed industry standards. Sensitive and/or regulated data is also encrypted at rest, following industry guidelines and standards. We maintain up-to-date logs and are capable of supplying technical specifications to qualified stakeholders upon request. Moreover, NCHEP adheres to strict data stewardship policies and we report all perceived suspicious activities to appropriate USA law enforcement or regulatory authorities in accordance with the policies below.

Sensitive Information

Certain information is governed by compliance regulations. For communication of sensitive information, contact us to initiate E2EE. Please do not submit sensitive PII, PHI, or other classified information via the website or any unapproved platform. 

Data Stewardship

NCHEP complies with relevant governmental, industrial, and cybersecurity standards for data stewardship. PHI is strictly maintained under applicable regulatory standards. NCHEP does not accept collaboration requests or solicitations from foreign entities, governments, or proxies.
